I had expected this for a while but not like this.
I had expected that Firaxes would bring out a new Civ game this year, but not one as bold as the one which was released only a couple of days ago, the new civ game is called Civilization: Beyond Earth, a bold step from the old games in one major way.
Instead of starting on earth at the beginning of humans agricultural beginnings and ending to the near future. Civilization Beyond Earth goes to a time period when humans leave earth to a new planet.
Here is the trailer:
I will be brining out more posts later with further details.
Mac, PC, Linux
Are you exited?
So hi all and a belated happy new year!
So I was wondering about something, it occurred to me that every major release of civ happened about every 4-5 years so we might hopefully be expecting some nice news from the guys at Firaxes about a complete new Civ game like something that might be called Civilization 6? Maybe, we won’t know for sure but we will most likely again here something from the guys at Firaxes for sure but if it will be about a new expansion pack or a new game we won’t know yet.
First of all Merry Christmas to all of you hope you had great dinner yesterday!
Although the modding community is great in the civ 5 making mods and adding mods in the game I think is quite hard to do (somewhat a similar issue with Minecraft). I think a good way to fix this issue is to add a mod installer in the game menu when you start the game. Now you might think that there is already solution to this… the steam workshop, but as you might already know Civ 5 is available on disk and the Mac app store where such a feature is not included. So how do you think Firaxes could fix this modding issue. Post it in the comments below
First of all I would like to apologise for absence on the blog. This was due to a number reason and the main one was school work.
So now let’s cover the recent civ news.
Firaxes just recently announced the last four civilisations for the brave new world expansion. The civilisations are the following:
Over the months we have seen some really cool civilisations and these ones like the others have that element. One thing which I have recognised with these civilisations is the fact that they are from a more modern era. I have not seen this theme before in the civilisation franchise.
What are your opinions on the new civilisations of the Brave New World expansion pack?
